Description
Summary:One of the most strategic and busiest toll roads in Indonesia, the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, is not free from problems, such as frequent high road density and overloaded heavy vehicles. The Jakarta-Cikampek II Selatan Toll Road was initiated to accommodate the movement of heavy vehicles from industrial areas and provide an alternative route for people traveling from Jakarta to Bandung via Purwakarta. The DED design for this toll road plan has been carried out based on Pedoman Perancangan Geometrik Jalan Bebas Hambatan Tahun 2009 and Peraturan Menteri PUPR No 19/PRT/M/2011. With the issuance of the latest design guidelines in the form of Pedoman Geometrik Jalan Tahun 2021 and Peraturan Menteri PUPR No. 5 Tahun 2023, it is deemed necessary to evaluate the design to assess the relevance of the existing design and to produce a geometric and pavement design evaluation that meets the latest guidelines. The road geometric design is based on Pedoman Geometrik Jalan Tahun 2021 and the pavement design is based on Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan Tahun 2017. The road modelling is carried out using Microsoft Excel, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD software. The design results are in the form of plane profile drawings, cross-section drawings, and pavement details.
