This earthquake killed more than 6,000 people and caused severely damaged housings and infrastructure, especially in Kabupaten Bantul as the most destructive area. This research use pre-earthquake image from SPOT 4 and post-earthquake image from IKONOS that can be an efficient tool to identify which area that affected by the earthquake especially in Kabupaten Bantul as the study area of this research with the combination of spectral and textural information. So from the information of the result, it can be use to do mapping the affected area as the quick responds of disaster management. <br />
