Description
Summary:Tjilik Riwut Airport is a domestic airport in Palangkaraya City which is managed by PT Angkasa Pura II. Tjilik Riwut Airport is the airport with the highest flight frequency in Central Kalimantan. In this way, an evaluation and development plan is needed for Tjilik Riwut Airport so that it can serve flights with a larger capacity for up to 20 years of its planned life. The Tjilik Riwut Airport Development Plan is carried out by projecting departing and arriving passengers and modulating aircraft so that passenger and aircraft data is obtained up to the planning year which is the basis for designing the geometry and pavement structure of Tjilik Riwut Airport's airside facilities. The development plan is limited to designing the geometry and structure of the pavement, designing markings and signs, drainage systems, as well as the bill of quantities for the reconstruction of the pavement structure. The evaluation and design carried out refers to standards issued by ICAO, FAA, and the Ministry of Transportation. Based on the evaluation carried out, a plan for developing the geometry of the airside facilities at Tjilik Riwut Airport was determined in the form of extending the runway, adding shoulders to taxiway A, taxiway B and taxiway C, as well as expanding the North Apron. Apart from that, reconstruction was carried out on the runway pavement, taxiway and apron.
