In order to compensate for the increase in built-up area, the Bandung City Government has tried to fulfill the 30% green open space requierment, but this has not been achived to date. On the other hand, the Bandung City Central Statistics Agency shows a consistent increase in temperature over the last decade, indicating microclimate changes that have contributed to the increasing UHI phenomenon in Bandung City. This research aims to analyze urban landscape structure that influence LST in Bandung City using spatial regression analysis. Landscape structure is grouped into landscape composition, spatial configuration, and morphological and urban form characteristics. This research uses a 10- resolution H3 hexagon analysis unit which is more detailed and consistent than administrative boundaries, and more flexible in shape than a square grid. The data used is Landsat OLI/TIRS in 2023 with 0,44% cloud cover. It was found that increasing the distribution of vegetation, composition of trees, food crops, water bodies, and level of land cover diversity could reduce LST by 2,41?; 0,13?; 0,42?; 0,48?; and 0,05?. Then, reducing the composition of bare ground and building density can reduce LST by 0,23? and 0,49? in the city of Bandung. In conclusion, efforts to reduce LST in Bandung City must focus on increasing the quality and quantity of vegetation as well as spatial management that considers the diversity and distribution of landscape elements in a sustainable manner. It should be noted that this research only analyzes the influence of 2D urban landscape structure on LST data at one time, so it does not consider the influence of 3D landscape structure and its changes over time. text |

The city of Bandung has experienced massive changes in landscape structure from
1984 to the present. In order to compensate for the increase in built-up area, the
Bandung City Government has tried to fulfill the 30% green open space requierment,
but this has not been achived to date. On the other hand, the Bandung City Central
Statistics Agency shows a consistent increase in temperature over the last decade,
indicating microclimate changes that have contributed to the increasing UHI
phenomenon in Bandung City. This research aims to analyze urban landscape
structure that influence LST in Bandung City using spatial regression analysis.
Landscape structure is grouped into landscape composition, spatial configuration,
and morphological and urban form characteristics. This research uses a 10-
resolution H3 hexagon analysis unit which is more detailed and consistent than
administrative boundaries, and more flexible in shape than a square grid. The data
used is Landsat OLI/TIRS in 2023 with 0,44% cloud cover. It was found that
increasing the distribution of vegetation, composition of trees, food crops, water
bodies, and level of land cover diversity could reduce LST by 2,41?; 0,13?;
0,42?; 0,48?; and 0,05?. Then, reducing the composition of bare ground and
building density can reduce LST by 0,23? and 0,49? in the city of Bandung. In
conclusion, efforts to reduce LST in Bandung City must focus on increasing the
quality and quantity of vegetation as well as spatial management that considers the
diversity and distribution of landscape elements in a sustainable manner. It should
be noted that this research only analyzes the influence of 2D urban landscape
structure on LST data at one time, so it does not consider the influence of 3D
landscape structure and its changes over time. |
