Description
Summary:The Mother and Child Service Center is a newly built maternity and children's hospital to support maternal and child health. The building consists of 8 floors with 1 basement floor that functions as parking space. Geotechnical design includes the design of foundation systems and retaining walls to support basement structural work. The retaining wall is designed to support excavation work to a depth of 6 m. The type of retaining wall used is a diaphragm wall with a supporting system in the form of ground anchors. The diaphragm wall is designed with a thickness of 1000 mm. Ground anchors will be installed at a depth of 3 m. As for excavation work, dewatering modeling will be carried out to lower the groundwater level from 3 m to 9 m. Analysis will be carried out using PLAXIS 2D. The foundation system uses bored piles with a diameter of 1000 mm and will be tied with a pile cap. The pile cap configurations include for 4 piles, 6 piles, 8 piles, and 24 piles. Tie beam design is also carried out to connect adjacent pile caps. The tie beam used has dimensions of 400 mm x 500 mm. The analysis will be carried out with the help of LPILE and GROUP software.
