Summary:PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) is a government-owned company with businesses in financing a micro, small, medium enterprise. The financing process is given through the micro/sharia financial institution. Besides financing, PNM also has a business line in management services of the financial institution. In the next five years, PNM should conduct a program with target building an integrative network reaching all districts in Indonesia. To build such network and broaden working scope, the current organizational structure will be a crucial factor, since it closely relates to working system and coordination among organization element. Furthermore, the working system also determines the output quality delivered to the customer. The goal of the final project itself is to recommend an organizational design, including the coordination and networking system so the business process of PNM can be performed effectively, efficiently, with high quality outputs. The recommended design is based on the virtual organization concepts. It is a temporary network of companies or individuals which distributed geographically, working together to finish a project and connected to one-another through information technology. The design itself consists of vision & mission of the virtual organization, and organizational characteristics, which covers the structure, elements, task and responsibilities of each member. The virtual organization is an agile working team, effective, efficient since the working process is based on trust to among team members and linked one-another from some remote areas. The design is also based on the analysis of PNM’s business characteristics, which will assist the company in expanding its business. The most crucial preparation should be done is to prepare the human resource competency and distribution.
