Summary: | This research focuses on Mealth.Id, a wellness services startup in Indonesia that
experienced a significant revenue decline in 2023. The primary issue identified is the lack of
effective performance management and clear corporate strategy, resulting in financial
performance falling short of expectations. To address this problem, the study proposes the
implementation of the OKR-scorecard model as a performance planning tool. This model
combines the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) approach with the Balanced Scorecard
(BSC) to enhance performance, alignment, and employee engagement.
The design of the OKR-Scorecard begins with breaking down the company's strategy into
strategic objectives categorized within the four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard. This
aims to comprehensively assess all aspects of performance. The identified strategic
objectives are then incorporated into a designed strategy map. Once the strategy map is
constructed and verified, the design of the OKR-scorecard follows. This OKR-scorecard
comprises strategic OKRs that holistically review all performance aspects and are further
detailed into divisional and individual OKRs focusing on the company's critical performance
areas. The derivation process of OKRs from the strategic level is conducted by considering
priority weights represented through the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The
formulated OKR-Scorecard then becomes the foundation for designing a performance
evaluation proposal based on OKR-scoring, self-reflection, and self-assessment.
The research results in three main outputs: a strategy map, the design of the OKR-scorecard
divided into strategic (comprising 16 strategic objectives), divisional, and individual levels
with a focus on the operational division, and a performance evaluation plan. These outputs
are expected to provide a foundation for Mealth.Id to implement sustainable performance
management across the entire company.
