| Summary: | Garut is one of the regions in West Java that has potential natural resources for the economy and tourism. Garut is quite famous for its leather and vetiver products. Garut Regency with its various natural potentials does not guarantee the welfare of its citizens, especially from an economic aspect. Economic growth in Garut is still low compared to the average economic growth of West Java. With the existence of natural resources and diverse cultural potential, it should be able to increase the income of local communities by creating more job opportunities, reducing unemployment rates, and increasing community income, as well as transferring their knowledge to future generations. Therefore, the author carries "Interior Design of Garut Craft Center as an Effort to Improve the Creative Economy and Tourism Sector with a Sundanese Cultural Concept Approach". As an increase in the empowerment of human resources of Garut residents. The method used in this project is to use a qualitative approach by conducting a benchmark literature survey of books and journals on design or facilities that have similar characteristics, conducting field observations and direct interviews with craft entrepreneurs in Garut. |
