SECURING MEDICAL RECORD SYSTEM USING BLOCKCHAIN WITH ECDSA AND ECIES

In this final project, the security system of medical records using blockchain technology is studied. The Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) and Elliptic Curve Integrated Encryption Scheme (ECIES) procedures are also used in this final project. This final project also employs elli...

INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/83223 In this final project, the security system of medical records using blockchain technology is studied. The Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) and Elliptic Curve Integrated Encryption Scheme (ECIES) procedures are also used in this final project. This final project also employs elliptic curves and group law of elliptic curve that will be used in ECDSA and ECIES. Medical record documents consist of public information and sensitive information, with sensitive information being encrypted using ECIES to prevent unauthorized access to this information. The function of ECDSA is to sign public information and the encrypted sensitive information to ensure data authenticity, data integrity, and nonrepudiation of the signature on the document. After four blocks of electronic health record documents, namely EHR, EMR, PHR, and APHR, are formed, the nonce values with a certain difficulty level will be determined to prevent easy modification of the block contents. Once all nonce values for each block are found, the blockchain system for the patient is formed. text
