Summary:The growth of tourism in Indonesia opens up doors to begin developing different types of tourism in Indonesia, such as astrotourism, specifically terrestrial astrotourism. The need to develop astrotourism arises from witnessing how tourists put so much interest in visiting places in Indonesia when an astronomical phenomenon, such as total solar eclipse, occurs. When mentioning about developing tourism, one cannot ignore technology as a supporting factor. Technology alike of traveling applications can help tourists to plan their trips, but there is no application that is specially made for astrotourism in Indonesia yet. As a starting point, this final project’s goal is to make a web-based app to facilitate the astrotourism ecosystem and connect every party involved in astrotourism. The web-app made for this final project, though still hasn’t facilitated the whole ecosystem yet, is able to connect tourists with tour agencies and be a space for scholars specializing in astronomy to write articles for public.
