Description
Summary:In this final project, interaction models of guideline-based CDSS (Clinical Decision Support System) for RSIA Hermina that is named as GLIDES (Guideline-based Clinical Decision Support System) are being designed and developed. The results are then used for input by the hospital executive managers about how the system will be implemented and used to support the organization business environment regarding clinical guidelines management, and also for input about the next steps of the actual system development by the HIS (Hospital Information System) Hermina developers. Interaction design is a new paradigm for designing interactive product (including software-based product) that focused on the users (user-centered design) and the usability aspect. The design is represented by interaction scenario model that shows how the system work and interact with the users. The results from this final project are GLIDES interaction model and interaction scenario simulation that representing the usage of guideline-based CDSS within the RSIA Hermina business environment. GLIDES interaction models and design are then used for the next actual system development. The conclusions from this final project are that interaction design methodology already brings the interaction aspect of interactive system to the level of software (system) development and also take the usability aspect into the design stage by engineering process. <br />
