Each comic has a different story and setting depending on the ideology or perspective of the comic artist. This study aims to determine the perspective of the comic artist in framing the lives of girls in Japan in the comic "Hi, Miiko!". The study uses the Gamson and Modigliani framing model analysis method, because this model has two mutually supportive devices, namely framing devices (Framing Devices) and reasoning devices (Reasoning Devices), then the framing results are analyzed using the Circle of Cultural Hall representational thinking framework. The results of the study showed that the visual structure constructed based on the comic artist's perspective on the interaction of the Miiko character that girls are depicted as expressive and cheerful. The framing of the comic artist in each story creates a pattern of interaction between the Miiko character, namely interaction with herself, family, friends and the environment in seeing a phenomenon and representation in the comic "Hi, Miiko!" provides an in-depth picture of the dynamics of Japanese social and culture and highlights the acceptance and meaning of readers to the comic "Hi, Miiko!" which often reflects their own experiences and understanding. text
