This study aims to assess the feasibility of developing astrotourism in Sabu Island, East Nusa Tenggara, focusing on the observation of Comet Pons-Brooks and the implementation of star bathing activities. Using a mixed-method approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods, this study involved designing and implementing a 5-day astrotourism tour with 10 participants. The results indicate that Sabu Island has good potential as an astrotourism destination, supported by favorable climate conditions for astronomical observations, minimal light pollution, natural beauty, and cultural richness. Analysis of tourist satisfaction shows high levels of satisfaction, particularly with star bathing activities and the use of the Stellarium application. However, challenges exist in terms of accessibility, infrastructure, and the readiness of local human resources. This study concludes that the development of astrotourism in Sabu Island is feasibel from economic and profitability aspects. However, it requires investment in infrastructure, enhancement of human resource capacity, and effective marketing strategies. Recommendations include developing innovative tourism products, improving facilities, and fostering strategic collaborations with various stakeholders. text
