Description
Summary:PT Geotindo Survey Services (GSS) is a geophysical survey and consulting company established in 2015. As a company that has been established for 8 years, GSS wants to expand its business further through improving company management. However, as a small company, GSS has limited human and financial resources. Therefore, it is important to conduct a decision analysis to decide which area of management should be prioritized to be improved. This research was conducted using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) benefit-cost analysis. This research began with the identification of current conditions and issues as the basis for the selection of criteria and alternatives used in the AHP model. From the identification process, six benefit criteria, two cost criteria, and eight alternatives were found. The overall benefit priority score is obtained through an assessment using the rating method by (Liberatore, et al., 1992). The relative cost value is obtained by dividing the present worth of each alternative with the total present worth of all alternatives. Benefit- cost ratio for each alternative is obtained by dividing the overall benefit priority score with relative cost. From the calculation process, From the calculation process, implementation priority rankings of the alternatives are obtained. There are differences between priority ranking obtained from AHP B/C model and personal priority ranking of the Director of GSS due to differences in the methods and ranking basis used. To minimize these differences, the AHP B/C model can be improved by doing several iterations of identifying criteria and decision alternatives.
