Humans have routines that must be carried out in life, from birth to the end of life. The daily
routines that people carry out tend to vary according to their individual needs and will continue
and develop as time goes by and life develops. The routines carried out in daily life do not always
take place positively, some people actually cause boredom because activities that are carried out
repeatedly and continuously, result in the essence of carrying out the routine being reduced and
ending up becoming a compulsion or necessity. Starting from personal experience, feel that this
routine keeps repeating itself, like a non-playable character who has the characteristic for doing
something over and over again.
Daily Routine is a work presented to convey the boredom of routines displayed in the public
sphere. It is hoped that this work can translate the problem of routine boredom through the
phenomenon of non-playable characters by using performance art in the delivery which is formed
into a video performance as the main medium. As well as cosplay as a depiction in the visual work.
The work is based on an understanding of the actions and reactions of a busy environment of
people busy with their respective routines. Leading to the intentions, reactions and actions of
society, the human tendency is to ultimately focus more often on their routines without ignoring
the surrounding environment and the reduced existence of a human amoung the public space.
