Summary:PT Multi Makmur Lemindo Tbk. (PT MML) is a company that manufactures building materials. PT MML began by retailing other firms' products and has since expanded to include a factory that manufactures building materials on its own. Aside from that, PT MML is currently a supplier to other building material merchants from various parts of Indonesia. The primary product that generates the most profit for PT MML is PVC pipe, which is make to order, depending on customers specifications. With a sales percentage of more than 85% of the building materials sold annually. PVC pipe manufacturing records analyzed from 2022 to 2023 include inconsistent data and are difficult to understand due to varied product names and changing report formats. Waste data documented in production reports is quite high year after year, resulting in material losses and expenditures estimated at roughly 19 billion rupiah. As a result, further examination of the waste produced is required in order to make changes. However, enterprises have insufficient reporting data, so waste data, particularly defective items, is not accurately recorded, making it difficult to determine the main causes of waste. It is believed that the solution design outcomes would benefit future waste improvement processes. Starting with a structured and organized report recording system and an in-depth review process using the dashboard, businesses in the future can track waste and losses caused by waste and improve them based on actual data from production and defect reports.
