When the writer sheds poignant tears, they observe the dispersion of light resulting from the refraction of these tears. Tears are synonymous with sorrow, while light is often associated with spirituality and divinity. Physically, light consists of a spectrum of colors, and watercolor, with its diverse range of hues, becomes an apt medium for depicting light. In truth, light does not exist independently. It only becomes visible in the presence of darkness. The inseparable duality of light and darkness persists. According to Pavese, art is not merely about representing external reality; it also portrays the inner reality of the artist, including dreams, emotions, and obsessions. Darkness symbolizes desolation, grief, and somberness, while light represents moments of resurgence, vitality, tranquility, and zeal. This final project serves as a personal expression of resurgence, showcasing visual light alongside its counter-dependent, darkness, derived from feelings and intuition. text
