To do EOR is not easy, it requires quite a high cost. One effort to reduce the cost of EOR is to first conduct a numerical simulation of fluid flow through a porous rock sample. The numerical method that is widely used for fluid flow simulation is the finite volume method (FVM). The FVM method changes conservation equations in the form of partial differential equations into linear algebraic equations. By using this method, many experiments can be carried out on how to efficiently push oil that is still trapped at a lower cost without destroying the sample. In this study, a numerical simulation of multiphase fluid flow with variations in wettability was carried out to calculate the fraction of liquid that is still trapped in the rock pores. Before using the actual sample, a simulation template will be created first using a simple model in the form of a capillary effect simulation. By changing the cylinder into a sample and adjusting the boundary conditions, the actual simulation can be carried out. The final result of this research is the fraction of fluid that is still trapped in the rock pores after the porous rock is flowed with displacing fluid. text
