Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technology or more completely Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) is a technological approach designed to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions into the atmosphere. The CCS/CCUS technology process consists of the process of capturing CO2 produced by industry, the process of transporting it to the storage location, and the storage process. CO2 leakage detection is carried out to ensure that the CO2 that has been captured and stored underground remains at the desired storage location and does not leak into the atmosphere. In this study, a CO2 leakage detection prototype will be designed consisting of a DHT11 humidity sensor, MG811 CO2 sensor, MQ4 Methane sensor, and Soil Moisture sensor. This prototype will be integrated with IoT, so that data on CO2 levels, methane, soil moisture levels, temperature and temperature will be obtained. This data is used as a comparison of CO2 leakage levels in the soil with normal levels. This device uses solar panels as its power source. Data collection was carried out in the ITB Physics Saung park for several time. It was found that there was no indication of any hazardous gas leaks in the ITB Physics Saung park. The final conclusion was that the quality of the soil around the test still showed clean and healthy results. text
