Description
Summary:Stress is one of the most common mental health issues encountered. Stress can happen to anyone, even early adolescents. However, many early adolescents are still unaware of how to manage it. To adress this, plant therapy can be used as a stress management method that has been proven effective. Unfortunately, this activity is still poorly recognized. This inspired author to create a 2D animation to introduce plant therapy to early adolescence aged 12-15 years as an alternative activity that can help with stress management. The messages about plant therapy will be conveyed through narration in the animation, with a slice-of-life genre and characters of similar age to make it more relatable and engaging for the audience. The research method includes literature review, distribution of questionnaires, and interviews with experts. The data collection results indicate that designing 2D animation to introduce Plant Therapy can help individuals with stress find a more enjoyable way to manage their stress.
