The basic idea of this research is use codification system of machining parts, and implement it for machining tool design. This research proposes model development for machining tool design, especially. jigs and fixtures. The main porpose of research is how to help and facilitate tool designers in preliminaries design. The model use designer knowledge transformation with classification and codification system, which knowledge in tooling engineering design translated as codes number, and well documented. Final result of research is guidance of classification and codification (manual sheets) and software, in order design process could faster, effective and efficient and reduce tools duplication and variation caused designer concept differences. Here is preliminary research and possible to improve as end user demand. |
