Description
Summary:PT Sinergi Brebes Inovatif (PT SBI) is a company that produces and sells shallot products and several other commodities. Currently, PT SBI sells their products online and offline. In operational activities, the company still records all data using various tools such as the Si Apik application, KasirPro Apss, Microsoft Excel, and manual recording using paper. Many sales channels and different systems often cause entry errors, double entries, and data redundancy. In addition, the company still has difficulty handling customer complaint reports about their products. The company still can't investigate the product results that its customers are complaining about. Based on the root cause analysis of this symptom, the company still records sectoral and does not yet have an integrated recording system. Therefore, an information system is needed to integrate data from raw materials until the product is sent to the customers. One type of information system that can accommodate these needs is Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This research aims to determine a traceability model design, design an ERP system, and produce a prototype of an ERP system. This research only extends to prototype design and uses an open-source ERP system because the company has limited resources. This research uses the ERP system development methodology according to Sumner (2014), in which process stages include system requirements analysis, business process improvement, and ERP prototype development. The result of the ERP system prototype by Odoo is that it uses purchase, manufacturing, sales, inventory, survey, and contact modules. Then, the author tested the ERP system prototype with the problem owner. Testing is conducted by verifying the prototype based on system requirements and validating the prototype based on predetermined goals. Using an ERP prototype can help companies integrate data from raw materials to product delivery to customers, minimize data input errors, improve operational data quality, and investigate problems in that company's supply chain.
