Description
Summary:This research focuses on the financial feasibility of implementing a closed house cage system for egg production at CV Surya Mas. The study addresses the supply and demand gap in egg production and consumption in South Sumatra and the company proposes the closed house cage as the expansion method due to the advantages it carries rather than the open house cage. Financial analysis, including capital budgeting techniques, weighted average cost of capital (WACC), and risk analysis, was conducted. The sensitivity analysis identified sensitive variables influencing Net Present Value (NPV), while Monte Carlo simulations indicated a moderate risk of project loss. The findings suggest that, despite inherent risks, the project is financially viable and recommended for execution. Mitigation strategies for high-risk variables, such as feed cost and pullet price, are discussed to ensure project success.
