Description
Summary:The presence of the Saparua Sports Arena, located in the city of Bandung, is a historic building from the Dutch East Indies era for the community and the development of underground music. Various styles of scene unity are fostered as a clear goal, and are supported by social networks, institutions, spaces, events and practices, as well as their acquiescence to changes in mainstream politics and pop culture. Entering the 2000s, this building is getting older and is no longer used for music performances. Most young adults aged 18-35 years do not know about the history of the phenomenon at Saparua GOR. Traces of this historical phenomenon are increasingly disappearing in this technological era. The aim of this research is to enable the digital native generation, which is dominated by young adults, to feel the benefits of the spirit of collective underground music movements that once occurred at GOR Saparua. To increase their knowledge and insight into the history of their country, media is needed that is suitable for the digital native generation so that the culture that existed in 1990 at GOR Saparua at that time can still be felt. The interactive website is used as an information medium that can be conveyed immersively in visualizing the phenomenon of the underground music movement of the 1990s at GOR Saparua.
