Description
Summary:The distribution of rock density provides crucial information for understanding volcanic behavior and developing mitigation strategies. This study analyses the subsurface of Mount Egon using gravity data obtained from GGMPlus satellite imagery. The collected gravity data were processed with free-air correction, Bouguer correction, and terrain correction. The analysis results present a complete Bouguer anomaly map, which was then separated using the moving average method, resulting in regional and residual anomalies. Negative gravity anomalies indicate the presence of low-density rocks, while positive gravity anomalies indicate high-density rocks. Through forward modelling, information on rock densities was obtained, including basalt with a density of 2.99 ????/????????3 , andesite lava with a density of 2.79 ????/????????3 , andesite rock with a density of 2.4 ????/????????3 , pumice with a density of 1.1 ????/????????3 , and lithic andesite with a density of 2.6 ????/????????3 .
