This will make the coal mining process continue so that many companies, such as PT Pamapersada Nusantara as the largest coal mining contractor in Indonesia, want to know the environmental impact they produce. This life cycle assessment analysis has a functional unit of 1 ton of coal. This analysis has a scope of topsoil removal, overburden removal, coal getting, coal hauling to port, and mining support with impact factors being acidification potential, eutrophication potential, global warming potential, and photochemical ozone creation potential. The main hotspot of mining activities is in the OB removal process with an acidification potential value of 0.036 kg SO? eq/ton coal or 52.32%, eutrophication potential value of 0.0032 kg PO? eq/ton coal or 46.99%, global warming potential value of 5.23 kg CO? eq/ton coal or 52.57%, and photochemical ozone creation potential value of 0.000029 gr C?H? eq/ton coal or 47.99%. This is due to the large use of B35 fuel and lubricants in OB removal. The recommendation to reduce the environmental impact factor is electrification which covers 9.81% of the company's revenue and has a return on investment of around 2.61% per year. text
