Summary:Plastic bottle waste is the second most prevalent type of waste polluting the environment, both in water and land. This condition is exacerbated by the high population growth rate, which has an impact on increasing waste production from residents' activities. This research examines the Salman Mosque ITB environment in Bandung as a case study to identifying and evaluating the waste management system in public areas and the community's awareness behavior in sorting waste, especially plastic bottles, glass, and cans. Through a qualitative approach, the research results requirea bottle waste processing tool that both attracts attention and educates about waste sorting and utilization. The concept developed is a bottle waste processing tool based on the waste contribution method, equipped with a shredder mechanism to improve space and time efficiency in bottle waste management higher selling value of the waste. This research aims to raise public awareness about the importance of waste sorting, the valuable nature of waste, and encourage active community participation in habitual good deeds through waste charity. Hopefully, this research can provide practical and sustainable solutions for waste management in public areas and promote innovation and economic potential from waste management that benefits the surrounding community.
