This study aims to evaluate driver fatigue of the ITB Cirebon-Bandung shuttle vehicle based on ocular indicators (blink duration, blink frequency, and fixation duration), neurobehavioral performance (Stroop test), and the Karolinska Sleepiness Scale (KSS). Data collection in this study was conducted using a reality experiment approach. A total of 5 participants who work as drivers of the ITB Cirebon-Bandung shuttle vehicle participated in this study. The route traveled by the drivers was Cirebon-Bandung and vice versa, with departure times at 06.00, 09.00 WIB (Bandung-Cirebon) and 13.00, 17.00 WIB (Cirebon-Bandung). Eye-tracking glasses were used by the drivers to record eye movements in real-time while driving. Eye-tracking data were processed to obtain blink duration, blink frequency, and fixation duration. Drivers also completed the Stroop test and KSS during baseline conditions (after waking up), before driving, and after driving. The results showed that the fatigue experienced by the shuttle vehicle drivers was mental fatigue. Drivers were more fatigued during the 13.00 WIB departure time concerning the time of day factor. Signs of fatigue were also observed after driving (1.5-2 hours of driving) concerning the time on task factor. Driver fatigue management needs to be implemented to prevent fatigue. This study proposes organizational, regulatory, and technological approaches to mitigate driver fatigue. Organizational and regulatory approaches include providing adequate sleeping facilities, work schedule arrangements, and driver rotation. The technological approach involves installing cameras to detect fatigue through driver behavior. text
