Summary:Indonesia, as a developing country pursuing progress in this modern era, faces complex challenges that require large-scale transformation in various sectors, including economy, industry, and infrastructure. To improve social and economic welfare, it is important to address the environmental impacts of such developments. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, using questionnaires from the Indonesian communities and secondary government data analyzed through descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression, and time series data approaches from 2003-2023. The findings show that the success of sustainable business practices and green economy in Indonesia relies on collaborative efforts between the government and society. The government’s role in creating supportive policies and regulations is crucial, but such efforts require active participation from the community to be effective. Therefore, commitment and cooperation between the Indonesian government and its citizens is essential to achieve sustainable business practices in the country
