Description
Summary:This research focuses on mobility problems in the hilly area of Ciwidey, especially between the Situ Patenggang tourist attraction and the Kawah Rengganis Suspension Bridge. In this area, there are no tourist vehicles available, so tourists must move independently using private vehicles. This causes inconvenience for tourists. Based on field data, interviews, and observations, it was confirmed that there is a mobility problem in the area. All tourists interviewed expressed their desire for tourist vehicles to facilitate their movement. However, to be mutually beneficial, tourist managers need to offer added value or attractions to tourists who are willing to pay more for this service. Therefore, this study proposes a solution in the form of an electric-based off-road amphibious tourist vehicle. The choice of electric vehicles is based on their environmentally friendly advantages. This vehicle not only facilitates the movement of tourists but also provides a new experience in the form of its ability to operate on land and water. It is hoped that this solution can be mutually beneficial, tourists get facilities to move and an interesting new experience, while tourist managers increase revenue and tourist attraction.
