Summary: | Waste is something that will never escape the cycle of life. Waste is always
produced either intentionally or unintentionally, by living beings or dead bodies,
much or little. The amount of garbage produced is also directly influenced by the
number of contributors themselves. And the fact is: garbage is one of the biggest
contributors to environmental damage. Therefore, garbage management is a
matter to be considered to implement the most efficient methods and systems to
minimize the impact of pollution on the environment, for example, food waste that
can directly affect the environment with a short time window. So, we have to take
careful consideration in determining the process of managing food waste, such as
the waste mobilization process in residential settlements.
Field data was obtained through observations and interviews with samples and
sanitary officers. The sample is a representative of the community with RT to RW
levels with different density and density on each sample. In this study, there are
three samples that are the subject of the study: RT05/RW07 Cibunut, RT02/ RW05
Pelesiran, and RT08/Rw20 Tamansari. The results of the research show that
currently there is a need for action to increase the independence of the
management of garbage in the society. |
