Summary:This research is based on Pangandaran Beach Tourism Destination has great potential in increasing regional income sources and becoming one of the largest contributing sectors to economic growth. In addition, Pangandaran Beach Tourism Destination is included in the Provincial Tourism Strategic Area Development Plan with the aim of Realizing Pangandaran Regency as a World Class Tourism Destination based on environment, nature and culture. However, Pangandaran Beach Tourism Destination has a history of the 2006 Pangandaran tsunami disaster triggered by an earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale causing significant damage to infrastructure and settlements. The purpose of the study was to determine the readiness of Pangandaran Beach Tourism Destination against potential tsunami hazards as disaster resilient tourism. This research uses a qualitative approach with data analysis methods, namely qualitative descriptive analysis and spatial analysis of risk assessment. It can be seen that Pangandaran Beach Tourism Destination has three hazard classes with high tsunami threat, high physical, social, economic and environmental vulnerability. Disaster capacity in Pangandaran Regency is in the medium class with the final result of the tsunami disaster risk assessment at Pangandaran Beach Tourism Destination is high. Overall, Pangandaran Beach Tourism Destination is good in fulfilling 12 indicators of readiness and resilience to tsunami disasters. This study recommends the development of disaster-resistant infrastructure, the addition of evacuation signs, expansion of siren coverage, provision of emergency communication systems, and disaster training education for local communities and tourists to improve preparedness
