Until now, the implementation of policies that related to GEDSI in TOD areas especially in Jakarta is still lacking. Harmoni, which is designated as a Sub-City TOD area, also needs to be revitalized and improved in its existing condition. The aim of writing this thesis is to redesign TOD Harmoni Area with GEDSI (Gender Equalitym Disability & Social Inclusion) approach. The design procedure used in preparing this thesis is the fragmented method, the data analysis method used is the evaluative method (gap-analysis) and the design method used is the optimization method. In the observation process, interviews was also carried out with GEDSI related stakeholders. Supporting spatial data such as existing activities (activity generator), the planned entrance point of Harmoni MRT Station and the planned direction of DKI Jakarta’s pedestrian and bicycle routes for 2023-2027 are also considered in analysis. Based on the results of issues & potential analysis structure, there are 6 area categories with 8 priority road corridors to be designed in the study area. Synthesis of literature and field observations produced 12 elements and 3 design criteria needed to redesign TOD Harmoni Area with GEDSI approach. From this design, it can be concluded that to realize the design goals, it is necessary to redesign the area with a vision of designing an inclusive TOD that is accessible, integrated, safe, comfortable, and equitable for people of all ages, genders and abilities, both physical and socio-economic, through the concept of complete streets and communities. The missions are to provide integrated, barrier-free access, universal design for vulnerable groups and optimize facilities and land-use to facilitate mobility; Minimize the risk of conflict with motorized vehicles and the possibility of accidents and criminal acts; Creating efficient walking routes and providing support infrastructure to enhance comfort and convenience text |
