Description
Summary:Poor environmental quality index can have a direct and indirect impact on the occurrence of communicable or non-communicable diseases in humans. Some cases of diseases with large numbers in West Java Province and related to the environment are diarrhea, pneumonia, hypertension, tuberculosis, and dengue fever. The quality of environment in each city and district in West Jawa Province is based on the environmental quality index (EQI) according to the Regulation of The Ministry of Environment and Forestry Number 27 of 2021 which consists of water quality index (WQI), air quality index (AQI), and land cover quality index (LCQI). Therefore, analysis of the correlation between EQI and diseases prevalence was analyzed using spatial analysis in QGIS and linear regression in SPSS. The results of the study showed that most of the IKLH components had an insignificant relationship with disease prevalence.
