Description
Summary:The service level of the Jatisari WSS distribution network of Perumda Air Minum Tirta Patriot Bekasi City is currently only 10,71%. Based on the Bekasi City Detailed Spatial Planning document (CDSP), Jatisari WSS is planned to serve the urban area section (UAS) of Jatisampurna , so it is necessary to plan a distribution network that includes the entire area and meets the standards. The planned service area includes 9 sub-districts, consisting of Jatisampurna District, which includes 5 sub-districts, part of Jatiasih District , which includes 2 sub-districts, and part of Pondok Melati District , which includes 2 sub-districts. The final period of planning, year 2035, is in accordance with the Bekasi City CDSP document, with a water demand of 199,33 L/sec, and a level of service based on the installed capacity of the Jatisari Water Treatment Plant. In the planning, three alternative networks were designed with their respective advantages and disadvantages, so that the best alternative selection method using the SAW method was used. Based on five parameters, namely financial-economic, technical, public health, environmental, and socio-economic, alternative III was selected based on the assessment using the SAW method. The distribution network is made with a combination system equipped with four loops with a 24-hour pumping system. The total length of the planned pipeline is 24.568 m which includes the modification of the existing pipe diameter and the expansion of the pipeline network area. The total construction expenditure is estimated to have been IDR 42 billion with operational expenditure to be spent annually amounting to IDR 1,3 billion. Based on BCR analysis and NPV analysis, it can be concluded that the Jatisari WSS drinking water distribution network optimization project is financially feasible.
