Separation process of Polyethylene Terephlate (PET) derived from drinking water bottles explained that light particles reached separation faster with uniform sizes and produce PET purity based on density. At this research, high amplitude and oscillation frequency (amplitude 6 cm and 85 cycles/minute of frequency) reached short time process and also shown high fluids velocity. Separability with jig based on concentration criterion (CC) where influenced separation time. CC greater than 2.5, separation process will be fast and easy. Plastics mixture of PETheavy–PSlight and PETheavy–ABSlight (CC = 3.14 and 2.65) separated at 3 minute. PET in difference sizes in maximum operastion condition separating 18.07% PET in >12.7 mm diametre, 17.78% PET > 9.5 mm, 17.07% PET > 6.5 mm and 5.98% PET > 2mm in the upper layer. Separation for 3 mixtured PS-ABS-PET with homogen sizes reached percentage 12.33 % of PET, 37.13 % of ABS and 50.54% of PS at upper layer and percentage of settling materials PET-ABS-PS up to 53 %-30.08% and 17.80 %. Forces due to displacement of materials influenced by sizes, density, and fluid velocity given difference times of materials mixtured separation. In the jig separation process, displacement materials influenced by gravity force, drag force and buoyant force acting at the upward and downward stroke. Forces resultant comparable with increasing of amplitude, they will reach separation process shortly. Then, using multilinier regression analysis, has shown that short time of separation process influenced by size of materials, and then by concentration criterion of materials. text
