Summary: | A landslide disaster is a type of natural disaster that often occurs in areas dominated by slopes and has an impact on economic losses as well as damage to environmental and ecosystem aspects. Situ Patengan is one of the conservation areas in the district of Bandung that presents the natural wealth of lakes with mountainous landscapes, the area is surrounded by access roads with slopes and rock foundations. The study aims at mapping the surface of the slide by classifying the cause parameters based on the Anbalagan method in the area of TWA Situ Patengan and its surroundings. The study examines the mappings of the potential slide through spatial modeling referring to the AnBalagan method which includes lithological parameters, inclination, land coverage, relative relief, land density, rainfall, and seismic zones. The results of the research showed that the waterfall area was divided into three levels: low waterfall 151.35 hectares, moderate waterfall 37.61 hectares and high waterfall 2.87 hectares. The distribution of the area with a high level of waterfall was found on the edge of the slope between TWA Situ Patengan and Nature Reserve Patengan 1, while the low and moderate levels of waterfalls were found in the areas of tourist use. |
