The application of organic fertilizers, such as kasgot produced from BSF larvae, can utilize household waste as a growing medium. Pakcoy, a popular vegetable, is a top choice in urban farming due to its ability to grow in limited space. This study employs a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments of growing medium concentrations (0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% kasgot) and 6 replications. Growth parameters observed include plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, root length, fresh weight, and dry weight. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with a 95% confidence level, and significant differences were further tested using the Honest Significant Difference (HSD/Tukey) test at a 5% significance level. The results indicate that the application of kasgot significantly affects all parameters. The data shows that for plant height, number of leaves, and leaf area: P0 (10.250 cm; 6.083 leaves; 114.431 cm²), P1 (13.816 cm; 7.333 leaves; 268.826 cm²), P2 (14.158 cm; 6.500 leaves; 206.655 cm²), and P3 (12.233 cm; 6.666 leaves; 123.735 cm²). For root length, fresh weight, and dry weight: P0 (18.042 cm; 11.450 g; 0.243 g), P1 (16.708 cm; 46.342 g; 0.9367 g), P2 (12.063 cm; 30.483 g; 0.6067 g), and P3 (12.195 cm; 19.508 g; 0.4033 g). The cultivation of Pakcoy with the application of kasgot is feasible for communal-scale implementation with a BCR of 1.320. text |

Urban farming involves the use of residential land to create a sustainable
agricultural production system. The application of organic fertilizers, such as kasgot
produced from BSF larvae, can utilize household waste as a growing medium.
Pakcoy, a popular vegetable, is a top choice in urban farming due to its ability to
grow in limited space. This study employs a Completely Randomized Design
(CRD) with four treatments of growing medium concentrations (0%, 10%, 20%,
and 30% kasgot) and 6 replications. Growth parameters observed include plant
height, number of leaves, leaf area, root length, fresh weight, and dry weight. Data
were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with a 95% confidence level,
and significant differences were further tested using the Honest Significant
Difference (HSD/Tukey) test at a 5% significance level. The results indicate that
the application of kasgot significantly affects all parameters. The data shows that
for plant height, number of leaves, and leaf area: P0 (10.250 cm; 6.083 leaves;
114.431 cm²), P1 (13.816 cm; 7.333 leaves; 268.826 cm²), P2 (14.158 cm; 6.500
