IDENTIFICATION OF ORGANOCHLORINE AND ORGANOPHOSPHATE INSECTICIDE CONTAMINATION DISTRIBUTION IN GROUNDWATER AT BANDUNG REGENCY

Pesticides are chemicals that are widely used as pest killers. Insecticides are one type of pesticide that is widely used to eradicate insects. The types of insecticides that are widely used today are organchlorine and organophosphates. The use of organochlorine and organophosphate insecticides is still widely carried out in Bandung Regency, especially in agriculture, horticultural crops and rice. Based on the results of the analysis of groundwater samples, it was found that the residues of organochlorine insecticides lindan, heptachlor, aldrin, endrin, endosulfan, dieldrin, endrin, and DDT were found with varying concentrations from each sampling point. In addition, it was also found that the insecticide residues of organophosphate diazinon, pheninitrithion, parathion, malathion, chlorperifos and profenofos were found to vary from each sampling point. Cluster analysis was also carried out on the sample to determine the distribution of the grouping of sample points based on the concentration of each sample.
