One of the methods used to identify structures is lineament extraction. This method is applied semi-automatically in this study to compare it with regional geological structures and determine the density at which hydrothermal mineralization is distributed on Sumatra Island. Based on the results obtained, the lineament features from the semi-automatic extraction are fewer in number compared to the regional geological structure data, with concentrations in the western part of Sumatra Island. By classifying density based on quartiles, all types of mineralization in Sumatra show that their distribution predominantly falls within the high lineament density classification and is controlled by lineaments at a distance between 3km to 12km. Highsulfidation epithermal mineralization types are distributed across sedimentary, metasedimentary, volcanic, granodiorit-granite, and andesite-basalt lithologies. Lowsulfidation epithermal mineralization types are found in sedimentary, metasedimentary, volcanic, andesite-basalt, granodiorit-granite, and metamorphic lithologies. Porphyry mineralization types are distributed across intrusive, metasedimentary, volcanic, granodiorit-granite, and diorit lithologies. Sediment-hosted mineralization types are found in sedimentary and metasedimentary lithologies. Skarn mineralization types are distributed across sedimentary, andesite-basalt, volcanic, and Woyla Formation lithologies, which include volcanic rocks and limestone. Structure is a control towards the distribution of every type of mineralization. text |

Current advancements in exploration technology enable the identification of geological
features from a distance. One of the methods used to identify structures is lineament
extraction. This method is applied semi-automatically in this study to compare it with

classification and is controlled by lineaments at a distance between 3km to 12km. Highsulfidation
