Summary: | Genshiken ITB is an organisation engaged in the field of creativity. In carrying out
its activities, Genshiken ITB produces various types of works in the form of digital
content. The ease of dissemination and creation of digital content makes digital
content the main choice by the majority of Genshiken ITB members. However, this
convenience also gives Genshiken ITB members concerns. With this ease, people
who do not have rights to digital content produced by Genshiken ITB members can
easily duplicate and distribute the digital content to others without the knowledge
of the content creator.
One solution that can be used is to use a digital content access system. In this
research, a digital content access system is designed using the AES algorithm as
encryption and access restrictions to increase the security of digital content on the
system. The stages of this research work include formulating the problem and
solution, designing the solution system, implementing the solution system, and
evaluating the system.
The system is implemented with a back-end system on a cloud server. The system
interface is implemented into two applications, namely the content user android
application used to access digital content and the admin web application used to
manage user accounts and digital content on the system. System evaluation is done
by functional testing and testing to potential users.
Based on the results of functional testing, it is found that the functionality of the
system made runs well and in accordance with specifications. The UAT test results
show that the system that has been created can meet user needs. By using the content
access system, the digital content of Genshiken ITB members on the system is
protected from theft and duplication without the knowledge of the digital content
creator. |
