Summary: | PT HKI needs to improve financial performance as a return on the use of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system since 2019. The limitations of the work program and budget require PT HKI to determine priority factors that are the focus of improvement according to one of the pillars of ERP development as the basis for self-evaluation. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the success of ERP utilization in supporting the company's financial performance achievements. Data collection was carried out through various methods, including focus group discussions to define user characteristics and forms of ERP utilization and to determine factors for the success of ERP utilization according to conditions at PT. HKI. A questionnaire survey was used to measure perceptions of ERP utilization in conditions of expectation and actualization. Gap analysis and correlation analysis were used to determine the factors that should be prioritized and focused on in the evaluation. The results showed that the largest number of ERP users were in the project environment with ERP modules that were widely used to support financial performance, which included finance and controlling (FICO), material management (MM), and project system (PS). Of the 18 defining determinants, there are 5 priority factors with the largest gaps, namely: software management (F1), adaptation of the old system (F3), involvement of all employees (F14), project management (F7), and developer or consultant support (F13). Compared to ERP users in projects that focus on operations and techniques to achieve performance targets, users in the head office tend to feel a greater gap because they focus on strategy, the complexity of consolidation, and the visibility of details in projects that have not been able to be accommodated by the ERP system. Although PT HKI has successfully utilized the ERP system, additional adjustments are still required to better meet user needs and the construction industry's business processes. |
