This study analyzed the changes in unconfined compressive strength (UCS), Young's modulus, and ultrasonic wave velocity of concrete specimens under normal and saturated conditions following impact loading. Specimens were subjected to impact loads at heights of 0.3 m, 0.5 m, 0.7 m, 0.9 m, and 1.1 m, with each height applied four times. Results showed that both UCS and Young's modulus decreased after impact loading, with values of 16.87 MPa and 3781 MPa for normal conditions and 14.86 MPa and 3452 MPa for saturated conditions, respectively before impact loading. Similarly, ultrasonic wave velocity decreased after impact, measuring 3176.03 m/s for normal conditions and 3172.36 m/s for saturated conditions before impact loading. Saturated specimens exhibited lower UCS, Young's modulus, and ultrasonic wave velocity compared to normal specimens. text |
