INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/85318 This study aims to develop a framework that can be used by non-profit organizations in order to comply with Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection. This framework is designed as a guide for organizations in managing personal data effectively. The research methodology involves a review of the applicable regulations in Law Number 27 of 2022. Based on this review, a personal data control framework is developed and adapted to the unique characteristics of zakat institutions as a case study. This study also includes a trial of the framework through a series of interviews with non-profit organizations, in this case zakat institutions. Data collection will be carried out through interviews and observations of the organization's business processes. The results of the framework implementation will be evaluated to identify the successes and challenges faced by non-profit organizations. The development of this framework is also inspired by the Information Security Management System framework, namely ISO 27001:2022. This inspiration was obtained from the identification of strengths in the ISO 27001:2022 process. In addition to this framework, one of the personal data protection frameworks was chosen that aims to comply with the EU-GDPR regulations. The benefit of this research is that there is a contribution to practical understanding related to the implementation of personal data protection for non-profit organizations. The resulting framework is expected to be a guide for non-profit organizations in improving personal data protection and compliance with personal data protection regulations. text
