Description
Summary:This research aims to implement an agricultural calendar system that will assist farmers in carrying out agricultural activities, particularly in chili farming. Uncertain rainfall affects water availability and crop yield quality, significantly impacting the growth of chili plants. Stemming from these issues, this thesis designs a mobile application that provides real-time weather information and land conditions with the goal of helping farmers determine the best times to plant, care for, and harvest crops. This application will integrate both hardware and software components, consisting of four main subsystems: weather monitoring, irrigation, frontend, and backend. The primary focus of this thesis is on the frontend subsystem, which functions as the user interface for accessing data from the backend subsystem integrated with the weather monitoring and irrigation subsystems. The expected outcome of this application development is increased effectiveness and efficiency in planning agricultural activities, as well as a reduction in the risk of losses due to weather uncertainties.
