Despite the convenience e-groceries offer, many users face significant challenges navigating app interfaces, which diminishes their shopping experience's comfort and efficiency. These issues can be addressed through the implementation of microinteractions, designed to provide clear, responsive feedback and interactive guidance to enhance app usability. Microinteractions, incorporating elements such as Triggers, Rules, Feedback, and Loops and Modes, are applied to various interaction design features to improve the overall user experience. The design of these microinteractions follows the User-Centered Design (UCD) principles, involving stages of planning, requirements specification, and the creation of low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes. The design was iteratively tested with users to gather feedback and make improvements, resulting in a final microinteraction design that enhances usability and user satisfaction. The research demonstrates that well-designed microinteractions significantly improve the usability of e-grocery applications, with measured improvements in usability and user experience goals. Findings from the second iteration provide a foundation for further development, ensuring that the e-grocery app becomes increasingly optimal and beneficial for users. The analysis confirms that the microinteractions not only meet user needs but are also effectively implementable, thereby resolving user usability issues within the application. text
