Summary: | This discusses the implementation of a support system for chili cultivation in
Sumedang, a chili-producing region in Indonesia that faces challenges in irrigation
management due to unpredictable weather changes. Chili is a high-value
commodity, but crop failures often occur because of suboptimal water volumes
received by the plants. To address this issue, the proposed system will acquire and
process weather data from sensors in the agricultural fields and regional weather
providers. This data will be used to provide accurate and specific information to
farmers for irrigation management and plant care. The system consists of four main
subsystems: the weather monitoring subsystem, the irrigation subsystem, the
mobile application frontend subsystem, and the mobile application backend
subsystem. This document focuses on the development of the mobile application
backend subsystem, which is responsible for receiving, storing, and processing data
from the weather monitoring subsystem and providing relevant information to users
through the mobile application interface. |
