This indicates that tourism has become a sector that plays an important role in contributing to economic development in Indonesia. North Toraja Regency is an area with very interesting cultural and natural tourism potential. In 2015, North Toraja formulated strategies and policies for tourism development in North Toraja Regency. However, in its development, tourism development in North Toraja Regency has not experienced significant development, especially in terms of contribution to Regional Original Income (PAD). This research aims to analyze the extent to which policies and strategies are implemented in the implementation of tourism development in North Toraja Regency through 4 tourism components, namely Attraction, Amenities, Ancillary and Accessibility. The data analyzed used primary data obtained through interviews with several sources related to policy formulation in tourism development in North Toraja Regency and secondary data obtained from documents containing tourism development policies and strategies. Data analysis uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research is limited to 10 leading tourist destination areas and analyzes the potential and obstacles of the DTW text |
