Description
Summary:This study analyzes and evaluates the overlay thickness on flexible pavement using the deflection method PD T-05-2005-B and the KENPAVE program, as well as conducting a Benefit-Cost Ratio analysis. The case study is conducted on Surapati National Road in Bandung. The main objective of this research is to determine the optimal overlay thickness to extend the road's service life and improve its performance. The methodology used involves designing the overlay thickness based on road deflections using the Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD), modeling and evaluation using the KENPAVE program, and an economic analysis to assess the cost-effectiveness of the repair plan. This research resulted in an overlay thickness design of 22.06 cm, which has been evaluated with the KENPAVE program and has a Benefit-Cost Ratio of 4.97.
