With a geographical condition consisting mostly of water and a population with increasing needs, maritime transportation becomes the most viable option to fulfill the people's demands. Maritime transportation, in the form of ships, can accommodate various needs ranging from goods transportation to human mobility. Ships require ports to dock, and every port must be able to facilitate the vessels that will berth there, one of which is the TugBoat service. TugBoats, also need maintenance and parking at a specific dock within the port. One of the largest ports in Indonesia, Tanjung Priok Port, will repair one of its TugBoat docks, namely the Central Workshop Dock (CWS), which will also serve as a parking area for several heavy equipment owned by the port. This thesis discusses the structural design of the Central Workshop pier at Tanjung Priok Port, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. The design includes a deck-on-pile wharf structure intended to accommodate tugboat docking and heavy equipment parking on the wharf. The scope of the thesis includes data collection and processing, preliminary design of the structure to withstand the working loads, modeling and structural analysis using SAP 2000 software, structural reinforcement design, and analysis of soil bearing capacity, both axial and lateral. Structural elements include beams, slabs, piles, and pile caps. Structural modeling and analysis will be conducted according to the limits of allowable UCR values and deflections as per standard limits. The output of the modeling will be an optimal design, including internal forces and reactions for the dock structure's layout design, which will be used for structural element reinforcement design and soil bearing capacity analysis. The designed dock structure has dimensions of 75 meters in length and 20 meters in width, with an elevation of +2 meters from LWS (Low Water Spring). Based on the optimal structural design, the piles used are 400 mm in diameter with a thickness of 11 mm. The wharf structure is piled to a depth of 21 meters below the seabed. The results of this thesis include the structural dimensions, dimensions of structural elements, berth and mooring facilities for ships, detailed reinforcement of structural elements, and the depth of pile installation. text
